It's 6:45am, the kids are up, and Nutley's Franklin Ave is quiet. But it's genuinely well-stocked early: a 24-hour Dunkin', bagel counters and a Starbucks from 5, a full supermarket at 6, and the Third River parks — led by Yanticaw — open from dawn. Here's the honest map of the 6–10am gap.
Nutley sits between Belleville, Bloomfield, Clifton, and the Passaic, so this is a radius, not a town line. Within about 20 minutes you reach Branch Brook Park, the Montclair indoor-play spots, and the Meadowlands boardwalks. Nutley is Essex County, so no Sunday blue laws — stores run every day.
