It's 7am, the kids are up, and most of Orange is still locked. The polished indoor-play places are a few minutes over the line, not here. In town, the honest early answer is the playgrounds, the Caribbean and Latin bakeries open at 5–6am, a supermarket walk-around, and a train to watch. Here's the 6–10am gap.
